Waitlist privacy notice

In brief: We use your email only for messages relating to OptiFit's launch: launch updates, the founder offer and, if you are interested, testing invitations. You can unsubscribe at any time.

2. Information we process
- Email address (required to join)
- Preferred plan: Plus, AI or not sure (optional)
- Phone platform: iPhone or Android (optional)
- Interest in testing the app before launch (optional)
- Time of consent and technical details relating to its verification, where recorded
We obtain this information directly from you through the signup form.
3. Why we process your information and legal bases
- Maintaining the waitlist and sending launch updates, founder offers and testing invitations if you expressed interest: your consent.
- Checking eligibility for the founder price if you later create an OptiFit account with the same email address: your consent and fulfilment of the offer you requested.
- Demonstrating consent and protecting the form from spam: our legitimate interest in the authenticity of consent and service security.
We do not make automated decisions about you.
4. Service providers
- Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France): waitlist, forms and emails. Brevo publicly states that its database hosting is within the EU (France, Germany and Belgium).
- Cloudflare, Inc. (United States): website hosting and Turnstile spam protection. Information may be processed outside the European Economic Area, subject to the applicable standard contractual clauses and other safeguards in Cloudflare's data processing terms.
- Google (Gmail): privacy enquiries and other email correspondence.
We do not sell your personal information. Any subprocessors and international transfers are governed by the applicable service and data processing terms.
5. How long we keep information
- Unconfirmed registrations are deleted after 30 days.
- Confirmed registrations are kept until you unsubscribe or request deletion, but no longer than 12 months after OptiFit's launch; the data is then deleted.
- If you unsubscribe, we retain only the information necessary to record your opt-out and avoid emailing you again.
6. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request access, correction or deletion of your data, restrict its processing, request portability or object to its processing. You may withdraw consent at any time without affecting processing performed before withdrawal. Contact optifitoffice@gmail.com.
You may lodge a complaint with the Office of the Data Protection Ombudsman in Finland.
7. Unsubscribing
Each waitlist marketing email includes an unsubscribe link. You can also request removal of your information by emailing optifitoffice@gmail.com.
